All Out Soccer 5v5 Rules

1) 5v5 will consist of one goalkeeper on goal & 4 field player.

2) All games will be 8 minutes quarters

with one minute water break at the end of the quarters and a 3 minute break at the

end of the first half.

3) on throw-ins the players will get one re-do a bad throw in. The ref will

demonstrate a proper throw in and the coach will decide if the player takes the

second throw in or can decide to play the ball in the ground and make a pass.

Should the second throw in result in a bad throw in the ball will go to the

opposing team.

4) Goal posts will be 6’x12’ with the goal area marked at 3 yards from each end of

goal post and 6 yards out from the center of goal line.

5) shots on goal need to be taken from outside goal box to protect the keepers as

this season will be the first for most players playing this position.

6) keeper can grab the ball only inside the goal box, a free kick for opposing team

will happen if keeper steps out of the goal box or grabs the ball outside the goal

box without a wall preventing to block the kick.

7) keepers can be substituted at the end of each quarter if desired and goal

keepers will need to wear a different colored penny provided on game day.

Keepers are allowed to boot the ball out on to the field however the field players

for these age groups are NOT allowed to head the ball. Should this happen the

opposing team will gain possession of the ball in a free kick.

8) after a team scores the ref will start the game over in the middle of field and the

team that got scored on will start the game after the ref blows the whistle.

9) all players on the field are encouraged to take a knee upon a possible injury to

show good sportsmanship.

10) all parents are to cheer for their kids and not coach as the coach is

volunteering their time to work with their team and hearing their parents coach

may confuse the kids as to who to listen to.

GAME LOCATIONS

Northwest Location: Polo Community Park 11801 Noriega Road Bakersfield, CA

SEASON LENGTH

The season consists of ten practice weeks, eight regular-season games, and an end of season playoff jamboree where top 8 teams per age group and division will play at least one additional game.

GAME DAYS AND TIMES

Games are played on Friday evenings. Games times are 6:00 p.m., 6:50 p.m., 7:40 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. We work to make the younger age groups play at early time slots. Times may vary per season due to Daylight Saving Time.

Games are 40 minutes long, with four quarters.

PRACTICE DAYS AND TIMES

Teams practice at least once per week. We have practice fields for Thursday. Times and locations are decided by the Head Coach and vary from team to team.

COMPETITIVE DIVISION
Our Competitive Division is for players, coaches or teams who play to have fun. Your child will learn the basic fundamentals of passing and catching. It's designed as an introductory division to develop an understanding of rules, teamwork, fundamentals and sportsmanship
ELITE DIVISION
Our Elite Division is designed for players, coaches and teams who play to win, and have a skill level to reflect that. This division is a natural fit for young players who have developed into all-stars on their respective recreational teams. These players will develop a greater love for the game and improve their individual skill set at a much quicker pace by playing with and against other highly skilled players and teams.
TEAMS
Our teams consist of 8-10 players.

You will have the option to list a friend, sibling, or coach that you would like to have placed together with your child. All buddy requests must be submitted through our system. Sibling requests are guaranteed, as are requests by coaches to coach their own child the vast majority of the time. Friend requests are not guaranteed, but we do our best to accommodate the requests.

We do not currently accept team registrations. The most effective way to register a complete team is to have the coach register first, and then have the interested players request the coach under the Coach Request section of registration.

Coaching our youth league programs can be a fun and rewarding experience. The commitment is limited to a few hours per week. All coaches will be required to attend a one-hour training course and sign our Coach's Code of Conduct Agreement.

AGE CUT OFF

Spring Season Age Cut Off is March 1st

Fall Season Age Cut Off is August 1st

We allow children to "play up" in older age groups if they so desire. Children are not allowed to play down in younger divisions without written permission from the league.
WHY CHOSE ALL OUT?

*We believe participation in an organized youth sports activity is about more than just the sport; it's about the entire experience for the parent and the child.

*Use of Orientations to introduce new teams and individuals to the game and its rules prior to the beginning of a season.

*No Parental Politics!

*All Coaches are subject to a background check and are certified.

*League Representatives are always on-site to offer assistance.

*Special Requests to play on the same team with a friend, sibling are welcome.

*Game rules and league policies are reviewed at the conclusion of each season to determine where improvements can be made to both the game and the organization.

*Our Leagues promote having fun, playing safe, and getting active in a healthy competitive environment while rewarding the value of good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork skills.
